AF NCOS Volunteer for Retraining
More than 700 Air Force non-commissioned officers have volunteered for retraining this fall, to ensure that the service meets staffing needs in critical career fields. The Air Force needs another 300 more volunteers to meet its staffing goal, the service announced Dec. 14. As a result, the service has tapped some members for non-voluntary training. Those selectees must complete a retraining package for the Air Force specialty code for which they are selected by Jan. 22, or face separation from the service.
