The Air Force has certified its first female enlisted pilot. The service identifies her only as Tech Sgt. Courtney, for security reasons. She will fly remotely piloted aircraft such as the MQ-1 Predator and RQ-1 Global Hawk, having successfully completed Enlisted Pilot Initial Class coursework with the 558th Flight Training Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Courtney has served part of her 11-year Air Force career as an imagery analyst for both aircraft.
