Air Force Maj. Gen. James Post was fired from his position as deputy commander of Air Combat Command, for making remarks that anyone who voiced support for the A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft essentially was committing an act of treason. Military.com reported April 10 that Pentagon leadership became aware of Post’s comments through a tip to a hotline maintained by the service’s inspector general’s office. Even though Post was issued a reprimand, he remains on duty, military.com reported.
