The Army and 13 allied nations are working with Raytheon Company to enhance the capability of the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. The $202 million upgrade will make the Patriot “more capable, and improve [its] already high readiness,” Raytheon stated in a Feb. 13 press release. Teams in Alabama, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Texas will work to develop improved software, systems analysis, testing and logistics support, and other requirements for the program.
