Defense Secretary James Mattis has let his displeasure with reports that present and former Marines posted nude photos of their female comrades on a Facebook page. “The purported actions of civilian and military personnel on social media web sites, including associated with the Marines United group and possibly others, represent egregious violations of the fundamental values we uphold at the Department of Defense,” Mattis said in a March 10 statement. “We will not excuse or tolerate such behavior,” he said, also promising a thorough investigation into the matter.
