North Korea claims it has launched a medium- to long-range ballistic missile. Fox News quoted a U.S. Strategic Command spokesman as saying that the launch did take place, and STRATCOM teams tracked its path. The Korean Central News Agency, the country’s propaganda machine, stated that “Respected Supreme Leader” Kim Jong Un pushed the button Feb. 13, sending the Pukguksong-2 missile skyward. President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stood together and condemned the North Korean action during a press conference.
