Poll Shows Support for Limited Syria Action

More than half of the U.S. population would support limited military action in Syria, according to a poll conducted recently by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Seventy-two percent of all respondents showed support for conducting air strikes against Islamic extremists there, while 57 percent approved of sending special-operations troops in to fight them. Only 42 percent favored sending in conventional combat troops.
