The U.S. military mission to provide humanitarian aid to victims of two earthquakes that recently struck Nepal has ended. Joint Task Force 505, which had been assembled to perform the mission, deactivated May 26. At its peak, the task force included 900 U.S. soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines. The troops were spread out in Nepal, Japan, and Thailand.
