Retired Army Lt. Gen. Joseph “Keith” Kellogg, who helped rebuild Iraq after Saddam Hussein’s regime fell, is managing defense and veterans’ matters for the incoming Trump administration’s transition efforts, Space News reported Nov. 11. Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., could become the next Air Force secretary, according to the report – assuming he is not named as the next NASA administrator. The report named several successors to Ash Carter as defense secretary, including: Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala.; Sen. Jim Talent, R-Mo.; former National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley, and former Defense Intelligence Agency director Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
