GSA has issued a bulletin to agencies reminding them of the requirements to report their travel, transportation and relocation spending in fiscal 2017, adding that the requirement now applies regardless of the level of spending.

The bulletin noted that a law enacted earlier this year that authorized agencies to reimburse traveling employees for using ride-sharing services when advantageous to the government also overturned a prior policy that required such reporting only if spending exceeded $5 million.

That law also set explicit cost and data reporting elements, it said, adding that agencies with major sub-organizations must report on those separately.
