OPM is soliciting federal agencies to host in-person presentations on federal employee insurance benefits, saying it wants to reach “as many civilian employee groups as we can” during upcoming one-week visits to three areas.

The schedule is: the Connecticut, Rhode Island and Boston areas the week of May 15; the Detroit and Chicago areas the week of August 7; and the Denver and Salt Lake City areas the week of November 6.

“Once we’ve heard from all interested agencies, we will schedule presentations with as many offices as we can. We particularly want to reach employees who do not have local HR offices,” OPM said in a message to agency benefits officers.

The events consist of a 45-minute presentation by OPM insurance experts followed by a 15-minute question period.
