Federal Manager's Daily Report

OPM is compiling a government-wide Database of Internal Federal Coacheswhose services may be shared across agencies at no cost.

“Coaching is one of the most valuable developmental resources we can offer our people, and has been linked to positive outcomes such as increased productivity, retention, and engagement,” OPM said in a memo to agencies.”Fundamentally, coaching is an experiential development process that supports learners in achieving specific professional goals. A successful coaching engagement promotes and sustains professional growth and competence.”

The database is on OMB’s MAX portal and is accessible only to designated points of contact within each agency. Points of contact will be responsible for submitting information on current available coaches within their agency, as well as matching coaches from the database with employees who have expressed an interest in receiving coaching.
