Stock Funds Turn Down

After a run of three straight months of gains, the stock-oriented TSP funds all declined in April, with the international stock I fund down 1.87 percent, the small company stock S fund down 0.71 percent and the large company stock C fund down 0.62 percent. Over the last 12 months, their respective returns are -12.49, -1.24 and 4.83 percent, respectively. The bond F fund gained 1.12 percent in April and the government securities G fund gained 0.15 percent, for 12-month returns of 7.58 and 2.02 percent. The April and 12-month returns for the lifecycle L funds are: income, 0.01, 2.22; 2020, -0.38, 0.95; 2030, -0.52, 0.54; 2040, -0.63, 0.09; 2050, -0.78, -0.73.
