Enrolling in Medicare

If you are already getting Social Security benefits when you turn 65, you do not have to apply for Medicare. You are enrolled automatically in both Part A and Part B and your Medicare card is mailed to you about three months before your 65th birthday. If you do not want Part B, follow the instructions that come with the card. If you fall into another category then see the following items.
