A federal judge has ordered former Navy SEAL Matt Bissonnette to pay more than $6.6 million to the U.S. government, ruling that he violated non-disclosure agreements when he published a book about his role in the mission to find and kill Osama bin Laden. The Associated Press reported Aug. 23 that the settlement includes all profits from the book “No Easy Day,” which Bissonnette wrote under the name Mark Owen, plus any royalties and profits from movie rights. Bissonnette was given four years to pay the bulk of the settlement.
