The Marine Corps is considering fitness test waivers for Marines at risk for contracting COVID-19. Stars and Stripes reported Oct. 6 that service officials could exempt individual members or entire units, if need be. Ultimately, the decision would hinge on the ability to adhere to safety measures, the paper reported. In the meantime, all Marines are being screened before they take their fitness tests. The service recently resumed conducting the tests, after Gen. David Berger, the commandant, ordered a halt in April.
