Meanwhile, retired Navy Vice Adm. Robert Harward reportedly has turned down President Trump’s offer to succeed Michael Flynn as national security advisor. Harward, a former SEAL and deputy commander of U.S. Central Command, is an executive with Lockheed Martin Corp. Media reports cited Harward as reluctant to take the job because of concerns about the image of chaos in the White House. He also was unwilling to sacrifice time away from his family to take what would amount to a round-the-clock job.
