The SmartWeb Move program is the first interactive DoD program that provides tailored counseling on entitlements and applications for movements of household goods fully online. Effective Feb. 16, Naples became the Navy’s first overseas location in the European theater to offer the program. The Web-based program allows transferring families and single service members to arrange their household goods move via the Internet. According to a Naples Support Activity spokesman, the program is convenient and flexible because families can access it 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from any computer with Internet connectivity. Furthermore, they can complete the process in one session or take more than one session, and individual counseling is available.
