Four mid-Atlantic Marine Corps installations say they are moving as quickly as possible to resume normal operations, in the aftermath of disruptions caused earlier this month by Hurricane Dorian. The affected bases are Camp Lejeune, Air Station Cherry Point and New River in North Carolina, and Air Station Beaufort, Recruit Depot Parris Island and Support Facility Blount Island in South Carolina. Civilian and military teams are working to remove debris, restore electric power and resume Marine Corps Community Services programs, while conducting damage assessments.
