The Marine Corps has punished two Marines for their role in the scandal that emerged in March. The Washington Post reported April 7 that the two — a non-commissioned officer and junior enlisted, each were reduced a pay grade. The two were attached to 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, at Camp Pendleton, Calif. The scandal involved Marines who took nude photos of their female colleagues without their knowledge, and published them on a Facebook page. The two Marines were punished for making “demeaning comments” about an enlisted leader, according to the Post story.
