The Navy has ordered all sailors, officers and employees who could have been affected by Hurricane Matthew to let officials know where they and their dependents are. The order to account would take effect as soon as the storm passed their locations. It affects parts of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. “All individuals [and] sponsors in the affected [area] will receive notification … via text [or] email to muster themselves and dependents in the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System after storm passage,” the service announced. The Navy also plans to conduct a needs assessment in areas in the U.S. that were affected by the storm.
