Air Force Gen. Jay Raymond will become the commander of the new U.S. Space Command. The Senate confirmed Raymond’s nomination on June 27, Air Force Magazine reported. The command is set to receive $83.8 million in 2020, the magazine reported. Raymond will continue to serve in his current job as commander of Air Force Space Command for at least the first year he holds his new post, the magazine reported.
