Nursing service members and civilian DoD employees now can be reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000 for shipment of breast milk when on travel for more than three days. The costs of commercial shipping, excess baggage, disposable storage bags or non-durable containers, cold-shipping packages, refrigeration and transport are all reimbursable under the change, which took effect April 7.
