Command Sgt. Maj. Craig Bishop has been named as the next senior enlisted advisor for the Fort Bragg, N.C.-based Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). He would succeed retiring Command Sgt. Maj. David J. Blake sometime next summer.

Bishop now serves as command sergeant major with the Fort Riley, Kan.-based 1stInfantry Division. A Ranger, Bishop holds the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with Valor Device, and Purple Heart among other awards, Military.com reported.
