The Boeing Company will provide “performance-based logistics and engineering support” for Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps variants of the V-22 tilt-rotor aircraft, under a $143,863,184 contract awarded Jan. 18 by the Philadelphia-based Defense Logistics Agency Aviation. The contract carries four one-year option periods.

Under the 11-month base contract, Boeing will perform the work at its facilities in Texas and Pennsylvania. Teams from the company will provide site activation, maintenance planning, training and trainer support and support equipment, performed by field personnel, wherever V-22 squadrons are based worldwide.
