Veterans who need counseling can continue to get it during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of Veterans Affairs began deploying mobile Vet Centers last month in four cities – New York, San Francisco, New Orleans and Los Angeles. VA hopes veterans and active-duty service members who are burdened with personal issues and isolated during the pandemic would take advantage of Vet Center services. The staff, in turn, will continue to do their jobs while practicing the social distancing necessary to thwart the spread of the virus.
