Beneficiaries of military medical care now can schedule appointments to receive Covid-19 vaccines online without creating an account.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) unveiled a new portal that users can reach online:

While beneficiaries already can schedule vaccination appointments through TRICARE Online or MHS Genesis, the new portal has one advantage – it does not require an account or Common Access Card to gain entry.

The portal is set up only to schedule Covid-19 vaccinations, and is not connect in any way to medical records.

Users will have to provide their name, Defense Department identification number, birthday, telephone number, first or second dose requirement, and first dose manufacturer.

Not all military hospitals are using the new portal. Beneficiaries are being advised to check with their local military treatment facilities should they have further questions about booking vaccination appointments.
