Federal Manager's Daily Report

The USPS is the fourth most trusted company in the U.S. in terms of its reliability in protecting personal information and is most trusted government agency, according to the Ponemon Institute in its Most Trusted Companies for Privacy Study.

The Postal Service’s consumer advocate, Krista Finazzo, said the high ranking reflects interaction that individuals have with letter carriers that are viewed “as welcomed and trusted members of the local community they serve each day.”

The results indicate that despite its financial problems, the USPS has solid growth potential.
