Federal Manager's Daily Report

The House has passed HR-3830, to require that specific information about each program administered by a federal agency be available to the public on a website operated by the OMB.

That information would include expenditure data for three fiscal years, any performance reviews of the program, statutes authorizing the program, major regulations related to the program, and any federal assistance provided by the program. OMB would have to archive all posted information.

OMB would have six months to begin a pilot program to post the necessary information and would have to be in full compliance within four years, with GAO to review implementation.

The House also has passed HR-4613, to require the VA to post online all publicly available reports the department issues under requirements of law.
