The administration has chosen the first group of participants for the White House Leadership Development Program, which it announced late last year.

The program is meant to provide opportunities for aspiring senior career employees to develop their skills through a one year rotation on high visibility projects such as the cross-agency priority goals.

The fellows also “will engage in an innovative development program that is targeted at the competencies, stakeholders, and exposure to collaborative practices required of enterprise leaders,” the announcement said.

The inaugural cohort of 16 GS-15 employees comes from a variety of agencies, functional areas and backgrounds.
