The Office of Personnel Management has scheduled a program
for August 9 — 13 for team leaders, managers, and senior
level professionals or equivalent level of responsibility.
Given at the Eastern Management Development Center in
Shepherdstown, W.Va., “Developing and Communicating
Leadership Competencies, Use the Concept, Practice,
Application (CPA) Model to Incorporate Six Essential
Competencies Into Your Leadership Style,” is a five day
program designed to develop six competencies: continual
learning, entrepreneurship, flexibility, oral
communication, partnering, and strategic thinking.
Participants practice these competencies in a variety
of learning activities while receiving multi-rater
feedback.
The $2,600 fee includes meals, lodging, tuition and
