The FLRA has issued a series of three training videos on union elections in federal workplaces as part of what it called the agency’s “continued commitment to educating employees and agency and union representatives on the purposes, policies, and procedures.”
“The series educates federal employees, unions, and managers on how employees organize and file representation petitions with the FLRA, how they work with the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) to develop election agreements, and how the OGC conducts elections on behalf of the FLRA,” the announcement said.
The action closely follows memos from OPM telling agencies to highlight information about the existence of unions and labor rights in the federal workplace to current, prospective and incoming employees.
