The Federal Managers Association’s annual convention is
scheduled for March 20-25 at the Double Tree Hotel in
Arlington, Va.
Its management training seminar takes place during the
convention on March 23rd and is designed to give federal
managers and supervisors key insight into today’s rapidly
evolving workplace by hearing directly from policymakers.
Following a keynote address from OPM Director Kay Coles
James, six panels will discuss topics such as new personnel
systems, the appeals process and fairness, the federal
complaint process, the role of academia in public policy,
and the Thrift Savings Plan. The non-FMA member registration
