The General Services Administration has scheduled a
conference for August 16 – 19 for federal IT managers and
specialists, and especially for those who feel “under-prepared
and over-reactive,” when it comes to network security issues.
Attendees will have an opportunity to “enhance your jobs
skills, meet your training requirements and earn continuing
education unit credits during three days of training,” said
GSA.
It said the conference would include the latest convergence,
wireless and telecom technology, and cover government-wide
enterprise licensing and accessibility requirements.
It is also slated to feature current and future trends in
managed network services, present the opportunity to talk
to experts about security solutions, and reveal the ins and
outs of smart card access and authentication techniques.
