Federal Manager's Daily Report

OPM has reached agreements with six educational institutions to become part of the Federal Academic Alliance, which provides federal employees access to bachelors’ and masters’ degree level courses at reduced tuition rates, bringing the total number to 23.

The additions are: American University Key Executive Leadership Master’s Degree in Public Administration; Bellevue University; Columbia College; Georgetown University Biomedical Graduate Education; University of Louisville; and Michigan State University’s College of Business.

“The portfolios of these institutions specifically include programs that address some of the federal government’s mission-critical occupation skills in the areas of acquisition, human resources, financial auditing, economics, information technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity, and STEM,” OPM said, adding that some of the programs extend the tuition reduction to spouses and dependents.

OPM added that materials from a recent virtual educational and professional development symposium it recently hosted will remain available until May 20 at https://fedgovedfair.vfairs.com/en/
