GSA’s 18F digital service agency has announced a single user account that can be used across multiple agencies for small business owners, veterans, taxpayers and others.

MyUSA is an account management service that consolidates interactions with partner websites, according to 18F, so that just one user account would be needed to interact with federal government agencies online and more information could be consolidated in one place.

It said MyUSA will use open authorization – OAuth- to connect users with partner agencies while keeping personal information secure and even enabling users to keep track of tasks they need to complete for various agencies, as well as receive email notifications about to-do items and application status updates.
