As a CSRS employee with 3 years military, if I retire after age 62, can I avoid making deposit without losing the three years? Blocked by moderator

I’m currently not eligible for Social Security benefits and was hired prior to 1982. If I retire after reaching age 62 and become eligible for SS several years after that, will my pension take a 6% hit? Could any Social Security benefit I can receive, minus WEP, be reduced for lack of military deposit?
