Army Offers Promotion Incentives

Soldiers who refer people to their local recruiting stations could qualify for promotion incentives. The service’s Soldier Referral Program is open to all members, regardless of rank and active or reserve status.

“The Army needs quality recruits to support our national defense and readiness, and the best way to reach these individuals is through young professionals throughout our formations,” said Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis, commanding general of U.S. Army Recruiting Command.

Junior enlisteds – pay grades private (E-1alify for p) though private first class (E-3) – could qualify for promotion opportunities. Specialists (E-4) and sergeants (E-5) could earn promotion points by earning the service’s new U.S. Army Recruiting Ribbon. More information is available online at goarmy.com/refer, or by texting RFRL to GOARMY (462769).
