DFAS Web Site Moves

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service public Web site has moved to a new location on the

Internet, officials announced March 2. The old site,

available through March 31. Users then will be redirected to the new site, www.dod.mil/dfas. The

move was designed to prevent down time and create an opportunity for enhanced features in the

future, officials said. The move also will increase the speed of the site by more than 12 times;

allow DFAS search content to be found on any of the Defense Department dot-mil sites; allow DFAS
