Some TRICARE beneficiaries covered under the Continued Health Care Benefit Program (CHCBP) will pay more in premiums in 2023. While the three-month cost will remain at $1,654, the family quarterly rate is rising to $4,134 – up from $4,079. This represents a 1.3-percent increase.
CHCBP is available to former active-duty service members, family members, adult children, unmarried children by adoption or legal custody, and former spouses who have not remarried. The TRICARE web site, www.tricare.mil, has more details.
