The House Oversight and Reform Committee has passed and forwarded for voting in the full House:
* HR-1224, to reauthorize the MSPB through 2026; allow it to conduct employee surveys to help ensure that agencies are following merit system principles for the competitive civil service; allow it to collect information on applicants for federal employment; and set standards for whistleblower rights training for MSPB internally.
* HR-2043, to require that the information in the “Plum Book”—currently posted only once every four years on politically-filled positions and certain other senior positions including career SES—be posted on a central public website and updated regularly. During voting, the bill was broadened to include a requirement to include summary demographic information on the incumbents.
* HR-3599, to establish a government-wide rotation program for cyber professionals.
