Examples of effective capacity actions include allocating funds or staff; establishing work groups with specific responsibilities; providing guidance and training to staff; addressing skills gaps; and others.

Examples of effective action plans include establishing goals and performance measures; identifying and analyzing root causes of problems; identifying critical actions and outcomes; developing an action plan with clear metrics and milestones; and others.

Examples of effective monitoring include ensuring data quality; holding frequent review meetings to address status and performance; reporting to senior managers on progress and potential risks; and tracking performance measures and progress against goals.

Examples of demonstrated progress include implementing recommendations; using data to show action on implementation; showing high-risk issues are being effectively managed and root causes are being addressed; and taking actions to ensure progress and improvements are sustained.
