The General Services Administration has announced the
launch of the federal supply service center for acquisition
excellence, designed to provide training and education of
GSA schedules, Global Supply, government-wide acquisition
contracts, GSA Advantage!, and eBuy.
The FSS center is a no-fee, 24-hour e-learning center that
debuted at last week’s GSA Expo in Orlando. Most of the
on-line and classroom training courses qualify for
continuing education credits, said GSA.
“We are committed to providing the training and education
necessary to arm the federal buying community with the tools
and knowledge required to perform best-value acquisitions,”
said FSS Commissioner Donna Bennett.
