The EEOC will host a half-day webinar July 23 on federal workplace EEO laws and procedures, designed for federal sector HR professionals, managers, supervisors, attorneys “and anyone else desiring to know the current state of federal workplace discrimination laws,” the agency said.
“This workshop will not only provide an overview of the federal sector administrative hearings process, but it will also provide federal agency leaders with viable EEO information, tips and best practices to stay on the EEO compliance track,” it said.
Sessions will address workplace retaliation; reasonable accommodation; the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act; and recent trends in cases. The EEOC is seeking approval for federal counselor/ investigator refresher credits for the training.
