SBA Reopens Loan Program with Additional $470 Million

The Small Business Administration has announced that it reopened its loan program on January 14th with an additional $470 million in lending authority and a loan cap of $750,000 per loan recipient, it has announced.

Its program was suspended temporarily due to volume constraints under a budget measure running through the end of January. SBA has not received its full fiscal 2004 appropriation and has been operating under a series of short-term resolutions.
