OPM has announced the availability of a new senior executive service hiring workbook for agency hiring officials and executive resources staff designed to help them more efficiently and effectively recruit and hire into the SES.
The Partnership for Public Service developed the workbook in consultation with OPM and an interagency working group to assist agencies carrying out a resume-based hiring pilot for the SES in fiscal 2011.
The workbook is designed to provide a framework, guidance, best practices, and templates to improve the hiring of SES employees through more efficient and effective methods and is available at ourpublicservice.org.
