TSA Trying a New Approach to Employee Screening

TSA has announced that it launched, at seven airports, 90-day employee screening pilot programs as required under the omnibus appropriations bill passed in January, which set aside $15 million for the effort.

The agency said the pilots would examine several types of employee screening in order to determine ways to enhance aviation security.
