The Department of the Interior has announced that it completeda multi-year project to replace and integrate outdated acquisition, financial, and management systems across all its bureaus.
It said that with deployment of the Financial and Business Management System – FBMS, to the Bureau of Reclamation, that all business operations are now utilizing the new enterprise management system – planning for which began in 2003.
The system delivers integrated core financials, budget execution, acquisition, personal property, fleet management, real property, travel, financial assistance, and enterprise management information and reporting.
