Four of Five Funds Fall

All of the Thrift Savings Plan investment funds except the government securities (G) fund dropped in April, with the small and mid-capitalization U.S. stock (S) fund down 3.94 percent, the bond (F) fund down 2.54 percent, the international stock (I) fund down 2.31 percent and the common stock (C) fund down 1.52 percent, while the G fund gained 0.29 percent. In terms of 12-month returns, the I fund leads with a 39.27 percent gain, followed by the S fund, 38.75, C fund, 22.74, G fund, 4.05 and F fund, 1.77.
