G Fund Leads June Returns

The ever-steady government securities (G) fund led the TSP in returns in June, gaining 0.42 percent, while the bond (F) fund fell 0.27 percent, the common stock (C) fund fell 1.7 percent, the small company (S) fund fell 1.53 percent and the international stock (I) fund rose 0.2 percent. For the 12 months ending in June, the I fund is the leader, up 27.18 percent, followed by C, 20.63, S, 19.47, F, 6.23 and G, 4.9. The June and 12-month returns for the lifecycle funds were: income, 0.08, 8.37; 2010, -0.2, 12.15; 2020, -0.54, 15.9; 2030, -0.8, 17.6; 2040, -0.92, 19.49.
